Evergreen. An unusual,sought after beautiful colour variation of ceanothus. The foliage is dark almost black and the late summer/autumn flowers are lavender blue. Grow in well drained soil in an sunny, sheltered position. Water only moderately once established. Height (ultimate) 180-240cm. Can be pruned. Hardy.
