Dryopteris x remota

Dryopteris remota, also known as the scaly buckler fern or remote wood fern, is a hardy, semi-evergreen fern known for its finely cut foliage and golden-brown stem scales. It is a fertile hybrid of the ferns Dryopteris affinis and Dryopteris expansa.
Grow in a sheltered spot in partial shade or full shade in moist humus rich soil that is neutral to acidic.
Great for a woodland garden.
